April 2017 IS026262 Road Vehicle Functional Safety Training
In order to enable R&D personnel to fully understand and master the knowledge and skills of ISO26262 Road Vehicle Functional Safety Standard, to better guide and ensure the development and operation of BMS project, and to enhance the product safety management concept of R&D project, the company successfully introduced the in-house training of IS026262 Road Vehicle Functional Safety in April 2017. In order to ensure the training effect and not affect the normal work of everyone, the four-day training is conducted in two days/two stages.
ISO26262 is derived from IEC61508, the basic standard for functional safety of electronic, electrical and programmable devices. It is mainly located in specific electrical devices, electronic devices, programmable electronic devices and other components specially used in the automotive industry, aiming at improving the international standards for functional safety of automotive electronics and electrical products. The standard was released in November 2011.
ISO26262 standard has been widely adopted by American and European automobile factories. It provides a set of perfect and systematic engineering methods, and provides necessary support for how to consider safety factors in the whole life cycle of project management, product development, production, operation, maintenance, withdrawal from the market and so on. At present, the standard is considered as a best practice framework to achieve functional safety of road vehicles.
In addition to the training, functional safety experts from DNV GL company, INTACS registered evaluator, senior consultant and Mr. Zhang Weiqiang (Chinese descendants) were invited to teach in our company.
Teacher Zhang mainly explained and introduced the following aspects:
-- Understanding the ISO26262 standard and its background knowledge, as well as the file structure and key concepts of ISO26262 standard;
--Understanding ISO262 Road Vehicle Functional Safety Management Architecture
-- Master the process of road vehicle functional safety risk analysis and system development
-- Understanding the specific process and evaluation measures of road vehicle functional safety related software and hardware development
--Understanding the relationship between ISO26262 and ASPICE
The training has been strongly supported and highly valued by leaders at all levels of the company. Senior leaders such as General Manager Xu Lixin and Deputy General Manager Yang Ronghua of the company participated in the training and learning process. They also came from the leadership of Huihe Institute, the leadership of R&D system, the QA supervision department, the QA group of Huihe Institute, the director of technology and quality of Huihe Institute, the members of BMS project team of automobiles and all the current or future automobiles. A total of 36 people participated in the training and learning of the software and hardware development backbone of the R&D center of vehicle-related project products.
This training not only gives you a deeper understanding of the requirements related to ISO26262 Road Vehicle Functional Safety Standard, but also enables you to have a deeper understanding of the product safety design consciousness and concept of R&D, and has a better idea for the further improvement of R&D business process and the improvement of R&D management of software development. We believe that in the future, our R&D management and product R&D level will continue to follow the customer's requirements and constantly improve, always able to provide customers with the best quality service.
